“American who just landed in China and this is not what I thought China like. There is not a single piece of trash in the street. Wow! This advertisement of this dog is like 3D kind of. Wow, look at this. Look at the escalator, it’s just glass, so you can watch people go upstairs. Just look at the architecture. These buildings, I don’t know how they make these buildings. They’re gigantic. A little bit cleaner. That’s what I’m saying.”

“Crazy! So I grew up using the New York City subway, and if you ever used the New York City subway you know that it’s dirty, it’s dangerous, full of trash, homeless, rats.

But here in China the metro system is completely different. You have this security barrier which basically stops anyone from being pushed onto the tracks.

And then normally in the New York City subway there’s a bunch of pushing, there’s people running, everything. We are in a nice orderly line taking the escalator up to the top here.

And look! Here it actually transfers to a different line of the subway. And let me show you some of the crazy features it has.

If you look over here on the TV, do you see this timer counting down? It gives you the exact seconds that the train will arrive. It’s almost never late. I’ve never seen a late Chinese train since I’ve been here for my third time.

Next is the toilet. They do have public toilets in and out. You don’t do anything with cash, everything is on your phone to scan out, and you can see even outside of the metro it is completely like… it is sparkling clean. You can see the reflection of the lights up there.

There’s a bunch of like information, and also look how deep underground we are. We have to go on another escalator… of course not perfectly clean, there’s no homeless, no garbage, nothing, that is the reality of the subway here in China.”

“…what train lounge looks like in China and absolutely spotless. So we had a private entrance over there with security. Here you have a bunch of these snacks. We’re going to get escorted over there to our train.

One crazy thing about Chinese trains, you don’t have tickets. Everything is done with your ID. You don’t have e-tickets. You don’t have anything. They basically just scan your ID and they let you on the train.

And then also guys, we have our own private transfer to the train. So we are being brought down here. This is crazy. And I never expected them to literally walk us to the actual train seat.

And guys, in here is your business class seat. You can see there’s only five seats in here. They fully lie down. And when we’re talking about the actual space of the seat, it is huge. You can see I have full room to lay down completely.

This costs the same price as a normal train in Europe and the US.

You get your meal. This is a beef rice, some vegetables. It also comes with a soup, a bottle of water, a snack pack of all these delicious little Chinese snacks I’ve never tried in my life. You also get a coffee.

And for me the best part is we have our own private little snack cart with little juices, soda, more snacks.

And for the train geeks, this is the high-speed train in China. We are traveling about 300 km per hour right now. And look at how smooth it is.”

“…in China, and Avatar inside this national park are 3000 of these quartz towers that are literally floating mountains that span the entire national park, and this place actually became a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992, like almost 20 years before the Avatar movie, so this was recognized in the world before Hollywood.

This is Chongqing, China. That is the real name of this place. And this is the real cyberpunk city. And this is one of the most futuristic cities I have ever seen in my life.

Right there you can see that the subway goes through the bridge onto the other side. There are many different islands here in Chongqing and the malls are insane. They have levitating little platforms. You feel like you’re in a forest. It’s an unreal experience.

So many of us, the image of what we think China looks like, we have no image at all because no one has ever told us anything correct about China all over the world.

But one of my dreams is coming to countries that I never thought was possible, and today is that day. Coming to China is a dream for me because not many people do.”

“…hotel in China. Look at it. It’s a freaking projector screen. Not only that, this wasn’t even the cheapest room, I wanted a river view. So this cost $25. The cheapest was $18.

Um, air conditioning, the bed of course guys, it gets crazy. First off, they give two free bottles of water.

I thought it was just the toilet over there until I went right and there’s a whole freaking kitchen! Look at the little baby refrigerator. That’s actually pretty adorable. There’s a little baby washing machine.

Check out the bathroom. They have shampoo, they have body wash. And over here they give you comb, toothbrushes, toothpaste.

And this is the price for people, this is crazy!”

“Guys try this Chinese street food or fruit with me, I have no idea… 你好!你好!你好!Chinese people are so nice. Good, I like it!

Look at what is over here. And they have this little facility outside with all of these different boxes and all these delivery drivers. Whichever one is designated I guess from the app.

I’ve been standing here for like five or ten minutes just watching like everyone come in and come out. Getting food delivered in China is like super super normal.

Oh my god, look at this! Some people are just leaving the food on the floor and no one takes it. Look there’s like a bunch of different food for different people and no one takes it. It’s so crazy!

How long… Oh my god is he just going to leave it there on the floor? No way!

Guys how long do you think that food outside on the street would last? I’m not talking about like being good or going bad, I’m talking about being stolen back in the west or back in the United States. I know in New York someone would take that 15 seconds, I’ll give it.

For me China is an ultimate playground. You just see things you would never see anywhere else.”

Ah!
